ART STUDIO画室

Although artists may each have their own ideas, convictions, or beliefs, in the end, to make a painting truly good, one must return to the source — and I believe that source is encapsulated in the word “sincerity.”

An artist’s attitude toward creation must be sincere. Sincerity makes the work pure, and it allows the work to move people.

Painting is fleeting. To seize that instant is not easy, and to truly understand it is even harder.

So, what is that instant?

I think one aspect of it is a calling that goes beyond one’s usual understanding — and only those with courage can grasp it.
